Apple wood produces a mild smoke with hints of sweetness, adding a distinctive flavour to pork, fish, poultry and light game birds.

  • 2 Litre Bag = weight approx 500-600grams
  • Best of the West brand are much larger than your average smoking chips, and therefore last longer

    • You can use wood chips a couple of ways;

    • Simply sprinkle on to hot charcoals (they burn away quite quickly using this method)
    • Seal in an aluminium tray (like a traditional takeaway food box), making a few holes in the lid for the smoke to escape
    • Put in a specially-designed steel woodchip smoke box
