The perfect steak is a BBQ staple - but there are so many variables to play with and master.

We'll take you through selecting the right meat, forgotten cuts, dry aging and how to cook a range of different cuts - so that you're confident cooking significant and perfect steaks for your friends and family.

This masterclass is packed into 2.5 hours. Expect small group demonstration with your BBQ chef instructor, as well as getting your hands dirty managing BBQs and cooking your own steaks.

Also expect to be well fed!

  • Reverse sear a cote de boeuf
  • Forgotten cuts such as the onglet and flat iron
  • Sirloin steak
  • Crowd-pleasing side dishes and a zingy chimichurri

Equipment Used

A range of direct heat grills, from kamados, to Weber kettles and a gas BBQ. We'll also utilise the new Konro grill from Flamery.

Our Location

Classes are held in the BBQ Academy at BBQ Land, just outside of Hitchin. The area is undercover but can get cold, so please dress for the weather. When you arrive please drive all the way to the end of the driveway to park.

Age Restriction: Classes are restricted to ages 16+

Cancellation Policy: Please contact us 10 working days before your class to be eligible for a full refund. You can transfer your seat to a different class up to 5 days before your class date. As this is a live ticketed event, we cannot make any exceptions.
