Looking for something a bit different for your next get-together, team day, or special celebration? Fire up your event with a private BBQ experience at BBQ Land.

Whether it’s a birthday party, corporate social or client event, we’ll design a bespoke session just for you - daytime or evening, midweek or weekend - depending on chef availability.

Hosted by our resident pitmaster and the BBQ Land team, your group will take over our purpose-built BBQ shed just outside Hitchin (SG4 7HD). It’s fully covered, fully equipped, and ready for smoke, flames, and fun - whatever the weather.

Hands-On Masterclass - roll up your sleeves and learn to cook your own BBQ feast.

Chef-Led Demo & Feast - sit back, watch the pros, and enjoy incredible food fresh off the grill.

Or a mix of both, depending on how involved (or relaxed) you’d like it to be.

You’ll cook and taste dishes across a range of equipment, from Kamado Joes and pellet grills to kettle BBQs and gravity-fed smokers - with menus that can include brisket, burgers, ribs, wings, or anything you can cook on a BBQ.

Our Location

Classes are held in the BBQ Academy at BBQ Land, just outside of Hitchin. The area is undercover but can get cold, so please dress for the weather. When you arrive please drive all the way to the end of the driveway to park.

Allergies/Restrictions: If you have any allergies please tell us your requirements in advance by emailing academy@bbqland.co.uk

Age Restriction: Classes are restricted to ages 16+

Cancellation Policy: Please contact us 10 working days before your class to be eligible for a full refund. You can transfer your seat to a different class up to 5 days before your class date. As this is a live ticketed event, we cannot make any exceptions.

Accessibility: Our BBQ Academy facility can be accessed by wheelchair users. Please contact our customer support team on academy@bbqland.co.uk to discuss your needs.
