You're invited to our place on a Sunday, to learn how to BBQ the ultimate Sunday lunch. We’ll give you the skills and confidence to move the traditional Sunday roast from the oven to the BBQ, transforming your weekend entertaining.
Each class will feature either a Beef Wellington or a half-lamb rotisserie, as well as raft of other proteins and side dishes.
Beef Wellington or a half-lamb rotisserie: A true hero centrepiece.
Spatchcock Brined Chicken: Juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned.
Oak Smoked Salmon: A delicate, smoky alternative to the traditional roast.
No Sunday feast is complete without the sides, all prepared on the BBQ:
Crispy Roast Potatoes & Yorkshire Puddings: Cooked in cast iron for that perfect crunch.
Vegetable Classics: Honey-glazed parsnips, maple-glazed carrots, and cauliflower cheese.
Sticky Toffee Pudding: Served with a rich, hot toffee sauce.
Seared Pineapple: With a refreshing mint seasoning.
This will be a friendly, intimate class, where we'll all sit down and enjoy Sunday lunch and a drink together at the end. You can get as involved in the cooking and food preparation as you like - or sit back and take notes - it's up to you.
We’ll provide tea, coffee, and soft drinks throughout the day. The class is held in our purpose-built, undercover BBQ area just outside of Hitchin. Rain or shine, you’re guaranteed a cracking day - just remember to wrap up warm if it’s chilly, as our area is enclosed but unheated.
